Summer transfer window.

Really hope we get some deals done early this season

Can’t be arsed with another slow window where we’ve basically done barely any business to improve the first team by the time we start pre season or play our first league game

I would be astonished if we have a new player in the starting XI when we kick off our first league game.

Alcaraz was just steady signing, George is exciting, no one would get excited by Alcaraz. George will have better options anyway than sitting on a bench behind Grealish all season.

I was excited by Alcaraz. I didn’t know who he was but it’s a name that sounds like a really good player.

I actually do think he is good. One of the criminally under utilised players

Saw a tiktok earlier where some fella said we should sell
Branthwaite, McNeil and Beto

To sign

Mctominay, parrot and ismaila sarr

I want what he’s smoking.

FWIW - I’d take all three. I just doubt we’d sign one of them never mind all three 🤣

I thought Xhaka was player of the year, the games he missed their form was nowhere as good. I would never have thought that at the start of the season but overall they recruited well, good balance and a very good manager.
he's used to the weight of expectations at arsenal and Leverkusen, imagine we had xhaka in our derby games - he wouldn't go hiding or bottling from the pressure.

Spurs are not messing about with their transfer business, they are after Alex Scott and Hayden Hackney £80 mil for the pair.

They have already signed the centre half from Bournemouth
I haven't watched Marseille much but hackney would be perfect for de zerbi ball we saw with Brighton.

anyway, that's the kind of transfer business you get when the manager plays modern football with a plan.

not "we hoof it up, then u run around a lot to win the ball back" - I wonder how moyes attracts players to come with that kind of pitch.
