He's a really good player, Hackney. One of the best I've ever seen at Championship level, but it worries me that he's not been picked up before because what he does with the ball makes him such an obvious target for PL sides. It's what he does out of possession that seems to be the problem, which makes me surprised we'd want him.

Answering my own question like a weirdo, but just seen his little data graph thingy on Twitter and it seems like he’s a better carrier and creator than Garner. Still think Hackney, Garner and KDH in one midfield is too samey. Unless Garner changes his game, which I think he is good enough to do.

Anyway, Orny says he wants us so that’s good enough for me.
