Summer transfer window.

It's arguably my main argument with Moyes, 20+ years as a manager and no sign of ever evolving and still grinding out results on a game by game basis by any means possible. Its just plain lazy tbh. Get a proper backroom setup and coach some proper patterns of play and some proper set piece routines.
Obviously he's been reasonably successful at a high level for a very long time now, but I am surprised by the vagueness of his answers (maybe he's deliberately this way idk) on the odd occasion when a journalist lobs him a soft-ball question about why e.g. the home form is less than ideal this season. There's very little in the way of the concrete or the technical - it's all the PL is very difficult and maybe it's the new stadium. Surely there must be more than that going on behind the scenes, but on the face of it he just comes across as a bit mystified by it all.

Does anyone think Keane Lewis-Potter is worth a look at? Can't be arsed scrolling back to see if he's been mentioned before

Seems like a Moyes type signing. Versatile enough to play Left back, Left wing back and even inside forward. Not top notch but a tidy player and would be a clear upgrade on Mykolenko.

My only doubt would be the price. Transfer Markt has him at 22 million but I imagine Brentford would want over 30 due to his importance to them.

I've generally been impressed with him when I've seen him but not sure he should be in our top 5 most expensive signings.

Thoughts?
He's a good player but Brentford won't be selling and even if they did he'd be costing silly money

Delap is a thug. Have hated him since he moved to Chelsea

But he'd do really well here. Think the fans would love him.

Said we should go all out in the summer and we should again

Pointing to his goalscoring form at Chelsea is kind of pointless. Been injured most of the year and doesn't start more than two games on the trot. Anyone who's played at a decent level up top will tell you how hard it is to get in sync playing one out of every two games

I think on paper he suits us.

But a lot of things have looked clear on paper and in reality either they dont happen or arent given opportunities to happen.

We need to have a strategy for the team to attack cohesively. At the moment and actually all season its felt that there is no plan.

We clearly need a top centre forward but how about the tactice to give our current attackers the ball and then what to do with it?
