How many crossss does he atempt and even get into positions to crossYou think Myko is told to put his crosses behind our forwards and straight to the nearest available defender? Or play simple passes out of play?
Lad just isn’t very good.
Problem for me is that I cannot see that we are signing players who we are sure will fit in with his style of play. Surely somebody within the club executive should be seeking those assurances before completing the deal.Hes the one in charge of transfers so until hes sacked he'll be signing who he wants.
Idk I’m just looking at how Delap can’t really score for Chelsea - so what on God’s green earth makes anyone think he’ll post better numbers here?
Look at DCL, liberated from the curse of the Everton #9. Given our attacking play is so dire for the most part, we can reasonably expect him to continue struggling if he comes here.
Plus Chelsea will of course be looking for more than they paid for him, unless they loan him out.
It’s a swerve from me.
That’s a terrible model from TFG if they let that continue, first summer with all the upheaval and some people late into their roles, you can understand it . But no excuses this summer. If Moyes stays then maybe he gets a player or two IE Grealish. Bit the rest should be seen as for now 23 to 25 and future 19 to 22

We we not in for him a couple of years ago?Does anyone think Keane Lewis-Potter is worth a look at? Can't be arsed scrolling back to see if he's been mentioned before
Seems like a Moyes type signing. Versatile enough to play Left back, Left wing back and even inside forward. Not top notch but a tidy player and would be a clear upgrade on Mykolenko.
My only doubt would be the price. Transfer Markt has him at 22 million but I imagine Brentford would want over 30 due to his importance to them.
I've generally been impressed with him when I've seen him but not sure he should be in our top 5 most expensive signings.
Thoughts?
Think he turned us down to go to Brentford. They would want £50 million, and not sure he would come, we're not really a step up from Brentford at the moment.Does anyone think Keane Lewis-Potter is worth a look at? Can't be arsed scrolling back to see if he's been mentioned before

Not sure about this yano.Because Delap is a physical striker who likes the direct game which suits our style better than Cheatsea's. By your logic how did Delap manage to score 12 Premier League goals for Ipswich considering they have a lot worse players than Cheatsea
Moyes ain’t playing him left backDoes anyone think Keane Lewis-Potter is worth a look at? Can't be arsed scrolling back to see if he's been mentioned before

It's arguably my main argument with Moyes, 20+ years as a manager and no sign of ever evolving and still grinding out results on a game by game basis by any means possible. Its just plain lazy tbh. Get a proper backroom setup and coach some proper patterns of play and some proper set piece routines. Not sure about this yano.
We've morphed into more of a slow build-up team, but we still have the old weakness of being vulnerable to the turnover high up the pitch, due to our insistence on playing our slower CBs, CBs at RB/LB etc etc.
