Summer transfer window.

Spurs fans think highly of him. I’d imagine they’re the best judge of the quality of him. He had a bad game, every teenager does from time to time.

This is kind of all moot as he won’t be going anywhere unless spurs go down (highly unlikely), and even then he’d be so far down the list of priorities of spurs trimming the fat that he’d probably still be there next season.
I just opened the first Spurs forum that came up on google

'A little boy amongst men'

'A teenager who should be getting a few minutes at the end of games'

'The Championship is his current level'

Just looked on another and I see similar comments, Id say its fairly spilt tbh, a fair few of their fans don't seem to rate him that highly.

You can probs go on most teams' forums and find opinions split on a young player.

If as expected Moyes continues as manager then I hope Delap & Grealish if signed are both on loan, rather than for a mooted £50mil+.

Rohl is an obligation at £17.5mil and I expect George's option is £20mil+

Its a head scratcher that the best part of £90mil could be spent on fees for the 4.
And still not a full back in sight

congratulations on finding the Tottenham Hotspur davek

Ask him his opinion on rangers players 🤣

I'm sure that Zat suggested that we should be in for Archie Gray.

Bloody hell that kids nowhere near good enough to play at PL level.

Been atrocious for Spurs today
And here is the problem with the Zat types with their long list of players we should have bought. They get most of them wrong but there is absolutely no consequence.

He’s no better than what we have.

Every one of those was from a different poster and I looked at another site and found similar views, If you want to do your best Zat impression then go ahead pal.
Oh yeah because disagreeing with you over one teenager makes me Zat… of course!!! Does that make you a DaveK multi for operating in a universe of binomials?

well done for finding out that different fans have different views. Gold star. Next time just look at this forum and assume all fan basss are the same, will save you a bit of time next time round. I assume you went back and looked at a diasporas of views over time, not just directly after a game where he’s been awful, or have you assumed all fan bases are level headed with no volatile views which are effected by recency bias.

No didn’t think so.

Actually yes and I live down south so I know a few Spurs fans and I agree I know some folk who do like him but I know others that don't, also in the first post I made about him I actually said that he might come good in the future but just that he didn't look up to it now, I wasn't totally writing him off altogether. Apologies for referring you as Zat, you would have made about 20 posts on the subject by now if that was the case

they’re not going down and even if they did he wouldn’t be going anywhere… all moot really.

I’ve got a rumoured starting 11 for tonight to fume about now anyway 🤣🤣

AG played at RB.

I've seen him play for Leeds and he was promising. I've seen him play a few games for Spurs, mostly in midfield and he was ok but without making any great impression.
Yesterday he was woeful. Terrible in possession, like a rabbit in the headlights and physically weak and was knocked off the ball by that heavyweight Trossard.
Your dream right hand side of Gray and Dibling would give me nightmares and have the opposition licking their lips

I'd say that when you saw Gray at Leeds and thought he was "promising" and then saw him in midfield for Spurs and thought he was "ok" then thats absolutely fine for an 18 and then a 19 year old.

I'm not saying younger players would get us up the league, quite the opposite. Ive been posting that signing the likes of Dibling and for example Gray would see us drop places in the short term.

I also see that Gray and Dibling would only be able to be initially used together sparingly while both are developed. Its more of a long term plan and even then i think Dibling would have moved into the 10 role by then.

Agreed.

Agree, its more the point of posters like Zat who are on the other side of the world and think they know more than fans who watch these youngsters week in and week out.

I picked out ONE player from Southampton and ONE player from Sunderland last season as the two players i wanted us to sign last summer above others.

When I did that I dont think i went into my thoughts on any other Southampton or Sunderland players aside from perhaps Dan Neil - who is now in the championship.

Remind me, did you think Dan Neil would have made a good Everton midfielder (as we were linked) or that Sunderland would bin him off to the championship? What did their fans think?

I’d be surprised if we went back in for Delap tbh.
He’s no better than what we have.

Moyes really wanted him last summer.

Its incredibly rare that he goes to the media and actually names players he wants to sign.

The last time he did it may have been when he said we should let Baines and Fellaini go for the good of their careers...
