Summer transfer window.

I think Spurs can and probably will be leveraged into selling Richarlison for less than 50 percent of what they bought him for this Summer. He will leave for around 20 million imo.

His injuries are a concern but he’s still only 28, and he’s currently outscored any of our players having only played 50 percent of games! He can also play across the front line.

People will whinge and demand the perfect transfer, and then we will end up spending £15 million on someone like Chermiti, who ends up being even crapper than Tom Cannon.

No big deal if he doesn’t come, but I think he can ‘lead the line’ as well as, y’know, put the ball in the back of the net.

We will also end up selling the likes of McNeil and Iroegbunam for around 15 million each!

He can't even get on the pitch, aside from that he is possibly the most overrated player I have ever seen in a blue shirt, certainly in my top 3.

Perhaps not a million miles away from Duncan Ferguson in terms of fitness, and I agree that’s the risk.

I don’t think he’s overrated when fit though, personally. I think he knows how to put the ball in the back of the net.

How’s that Solanke feller getting on? Same age as Richarlison. Plays less, scores less. Only cost 55 million quid.

Every player at Everton scores less than Richarlison too. Even when they’ve played twice the amount of games that Richarlison has.

It's all about opinions and everyone is entitled to theirs, you rate him and I don't nothing wrong with either view. I'm not surprised he has scored more goals than any of our lot as Spurs have better creators and actually try and attack in games whereas we don't, we play management football and look to capitalise on mistakes. We have the likes of Grealish, KDH, Ndiaye and others and we are one of the least creative teams in the league its embarrassing imo. I'm not surprised our strikers don't score goals, Haaland would not score goals at Everton. Also I don't think Richarlison has ever scored more than 13 in the league in a season which is not that impressive really for a 28 year old.

In recent history this would be correct, honestly not sure if that's been the case this season though. He's had Kudus creating for him who's very good, but the rest of their creative players have been out all season, and the football that Frank was playing there was pretty diabolical.

Edit - agree about our style of play though, also find it embarrassing with some of the players we have.

Damn impressive for an Everton forward though sadly!

Why our fan base constantly look back rather than forwards perplexe's me. As you say he's overrated and I remember lots of times when he was here our fanbase weren't always enamoured with him. Sure he 'got us' and was a beacon of light at times when things were at their darkest at the club but I don't think that's a good reason to bring him back

Solanke is never a 55 million striker its just Tottenham being stupid

Grealish (loan depending on fitness)
Rohl (permanent, already agreed)
George (permanent if impresses further)

Starting right back, left back and a striker that can play football have to be top priorities.

Centre mid to replace Gana/add depth if we get Europe.

Centre back to add depth and replace Keane/tarky etc

Loan out aznou if we sign a left back,

Fitness is always a connudrum and a risk when signing a player.

I wonder sometimes how much scouts look outside the box of all the metrics in how a player looks after themselves on the pitch, with a sixth sense in how to ride and dodge reckless tackles, warm up and down properly.

Too often players are missing when they are needed the most.

It would be difficult though, his value is hardly going to have gone up since we agreed a fee is it, and bundesliga clubs aren’t routinely dropping that sort of money on players. Selling in the same window for profit is a sound business strategy, selling in the same window for a loss is a fast track to points deductions.
Or selling for the same price or selling to one of the other leagues is Europe / Rest of the world?

His value will be what another team is willing to pay.

It was a hypothetical - time will tell.
