Summer transfer window.

The set up is dreadful, game after game of square pegs trying to fit into round holes. Same like for like subs. Same players getting selected regardless of form whilst others show good little glimpses in cameos but don't get rewarded for it.

I was watching him and Baines on the 86th/87th minute deep in conversation about what to do...Coleman and Mcneil came on

He'll mentor the likes of Baines into the glass ceiling mentality. We need someone to come in and freshen up this club

A new stadium but everything else just reeks of mediocrity. The fact that theyre saying Seamus will always be welcome and they'll fond a job for him speaks volumes of the misplaced sentimental crap that riddles this club. What if hes a crap coach? What if hes crap at laying cones? What if he is rubbish at mopping the floors or cleaning kits? Does he still just get a free job because he is a true gentleman (which I'm not questioning btw),
Apparently he has had a bit of a dabble at the coaching thing and doesn't fancy it long term.

I was thinking about lowering expectations and wasn't Moyes a breath of fresh air last season saying he hasnt got long and wants the club to be getting into Europe asap as he wont have the same amount of time as the 1st time around.

This season he couldn't wait to downplay expectations and in fact commented that getting to 40pts was still an important factor.

He just couldn't help himself and let the shackles off and really go for it.
There was a definite pattern of talking up the club when way down the table but the closer Europe was he talked it down.

I've no doubt he talks differently behind the scenes to what we hear in pressers but the result is the same, we end up where he sees us as belonging. Safe, not in danger of relegation but ever the also ran.

Whole backline needs replacing. Let in 27 at home as opposed to 22 away. I think only 3 teams have let in more at home than away. And one of them are Wolves. Sitting and protecting away suits. Teams hitting us at home when we're higher up the pitch exposes the flaws.
We've had a season where we've comfortably not bothered either end of the table but its not really progression. Two centre backs on the wrong side of 30 who are just blockers. As for fullbacks. Lol
Rest of the squad aren't yet good enough to leave that defence to exposed.
Gives me a headache thinking about how much recruitment is still needed. And thats even if they get it right.

We are “happily dissatisfied” with the performance of Mosul Moyes.

Nothing of interest to see here….
