TBF Southampton has produced some great talents. I dont get the fuss around the price. its just the going rate now.

I think it's a case of Southampton moving the goal posts that has annoyed the club, when you give a price and bump it up 10m in a day it's bound to create tension.

As I said yesterday we have leverage if no other club will come to the table, given his contract situation and the league they're playing in.

There’s a big assumption people are making that O’Brien is definitely going to better as a CB than as a RB. There’s jury is still out for me.

He is better than Keane and is our 3rd choice CB regardless of whether he is better at RB than CB. So we need a RB capable of starting.

They want £45M + £5m that is easily achievable in add-ons + 25% sell-ons

Pure greed in an inflated market- but why did it take rejected 3 bids for Saints to actually tell us their asking price

Why does it make a difference if I say next week or 10 days? Both things are true, people are just living so heavily in their own delusions that they want to pretend something is further away than it is. That’s not my problem.
