Justin James at £6 mill looks alright to me.
So you think this guy should be getting call-up? Mind you he hasn’t been called up at any age group can you answer why? It's just a silly argument though. He wasn't bought to be a starter for Chelsea. He was bought because he was the best player for the manager that moved to Chelsea so he knew he could trust him as a backup player. The England argument is also completely irrelevant. Branthwaite doesn't get called up or game time for England despite us all thinking he should. Jordan Henderson still gets game time for England. Who gets called up for international football is dumb because it's as much dependent on politics as it is ability.
Silly argument. They are not playing in the same position.Maybe get Sociadad to sack off the clause to Madrid for your client first before you bang on about other players
No idea yet. Chelsea bought him for £30m.What sort of fee are they talking for him? Surely not more than 20-25m?
You think Patterson is bad? this lad is worse, he has zero positional skill and prone to mistakes. He is awful I'll be sad if he's our fullback next year.Justin James at £6 mill looks alright to me.
I can actually live with this IF by the end of August we have added to the squadI did have this thought the other day but we just have no numbers in the middle... stegthen the middle of the park and I`d make Garner 1st choice RB as it stands.
That is my opinion and only one mans opinion counts and that is Moyes... The team that will kick off the season will be (Barring any injuries) :-
PickfordVault it! Any player coming in this week only has Roma to play themselves in and we know Moyes is pragmatic and only goes with what he knows, even if that works or not.
O`Brien Tarkowski Branthwaite Mykolenko
Gueye Garner
McNeil Alcaraz NDaiye
Beto
Depends on how Moyes wants to work, will he want, in his ideal ideology an attacking RB to match an Aznou on the left or will he want a stay at home RB like a JOB which Justin will be. I`d prefer symetry and have bombing fullback both sides but some coaches like it lob sided, keeping the RB at home creates a 3rd CB with 1 sitting DM and if you have 2 bombing FBs you need 2 DM sitters in front of 2 CBs, in like a box shape if you like to protect against counter attacks.Justin James at £6 mill looks alright to me.
Why does a player need to be called up for England to be a good player? Again, international football is completely irrelevant. So you think this guy should be getting call-up? Mind you he hasn’t been called up at any age group can you answer why?

Yeah agreed. Two flying fullbacks would be entertaining but for a team like us to climb the table we need to build carefully on our solid defensive foundations not make too many defensive compromises. For Moyes to play Aznou, who is known for pushing forward on the left flank, he'll need a reliable, defense-minded right-back. This player would need to be capable of tucking in to form a back three when the team is on the attack.
Moyes currently has a player who fits this description in Jake O'Brien. However, he'll likely be looking for another player with a similar profile. It's unlikely that Moyes would sign a young, maverick-style right-back.
Because in most cases, countries are picking their best bunch to play. And there are ample opportunities to get a call-up at any level. This means for coaches from U21 to senior he is not standing out.Why does a player need to be called up for England to be a good player? Again, international football is completely irrelevant.
And he chips in with a few goalsThink you're off in your assessment here. He's an instant upgrade on Garner. Much better ball carrier and progressive player with his passing and his ability to drive with the ball. Also has a good engine on him.
