Obviously a strikers is needed. But players capable of scoring in other areas of the pitch.

Need to stop relying constantly on players with very suspect injury records and actually sign some decent quality in positions they play.

I mean if DCL can start 25 times next season then brilliant, team finishes comfortable mid table given his quality. Based on last two years he'll do well to make 15 games and then it's another hard long slog.

I like Patterson but he's started at best 4 games in a row this season so that's another position you can't mess around with regardless of whether Seamus gets another year (and I doubt he'll be fit for August himself).

Criminal how the way club neglected the summer transfer window and simply wasted the first month of the season, thankfully that decision didn't cost 100s of millions but it was very close yet again.
