Eric Dier is a player who I think would be a smart signing, can play centre back and could play in the centre midfield too.

Would have been even smarter to sign him for 500k when we had him about 10 years ago

I'm half hoping a deal that sees Branthwaite go out and Maguire comes in can be done today.

That CD is as chronic as our FB situation, make no mistake about that.

If we can get Maguire in on loan it'll solve alot of problems but I still think we need someone who can play RB until Coleman is fit. Maybe even a starting LB who can fill in there then swap back over when Coleman is back. Would argue we don't need to replace Iwobi with us having Harrison, McNeil, Danjuma and Dobbin there. If Gray goes maybe a player like Sulemana comes in. I'd call that a very good window.

With Gray, Iwobi and Cannon all going out that’d bring in apparently around £40m, getting anything from Gomes, Gbamin and Maupay as well as anyone else would be huge on top of that. Could easily see £50m-£60m in sales, I don’t see it all getting reinvested but at least the club will be more financially healthy after it.
