Summer hols

I love seeing people on hols and sticking pics over socials, I know some hate it, but I love it seeing people enjoy travel.

Its one of the best things in life you can do.

This year done, Cork, Belfast, Milan, Madrid, New York, doing Rome in 2 weeks, week in a motor home in Scotland in summer, Benidorm stag do, and a week in Tenerife to come.

Get it spent.

Fantastic.

I'm being threatened with a few days in Benidorm too, for a birthday. I'd forgotten about that. Worrying times!

Get up early to get the Ferry up to the Malcesine Monte Baldo cableway. Absolutely stunning views. Get yourself a good fly repellant also. The flys were not bad in June (Peschiera) when I was there but apparently they ramp up in numbers. Also after each meal, enjoy an Espresso with Sambuca. Absolute class.

Finally, don't try to order a particular coffee. Just ask for a Coffee and they will give you the correct one for the time of day.
Nice. Im going to Pescheria start of July. Ill remember the sambuca!!

Let your hair down and have a blow out.

I'm staying on my own in a different hotel to the stag party......own room, better hotel....bit out of the way of the madness, so I can chill in the day and without the rest of them pressuring to get on the ale at 10am!!! 😂

Furry boots in Scotland?

Meant to be going Magaluf with the lads for Robbo’s stag do but with the fuel issues it might end up being in UK now.

Wherever we go we’ll have a blast anyway. Haven’t got many of these lads holidays left in the tank at my age

I'm in Milan. It's an inconvenient layover due to my wife's visa requirements. Italy has some incredible cities but Milan is not one of them. The cathedral is great but there's nothing else to shout home about.

We found Pasticceria Peccati di Gola to have the best Morning Coffee and Pastries. There is Bell'Arrivo to get a coffee and croissant (corneto to them) within the town walls if you want to people watch. Are you AirBnB/Hotel/Campsite?

Cheers, we are campsite. I think del garda

I've recently retired always, said I'd start booking spontaneous short notice holidays if it suited, a couple of days ago I saw a cheapy for Kefalonia leaving in 10 days thought that'll do me.
I've been to a few other Greek islands over the years and always enjoyed them, looking forward to this one, just B&B so we'll enjoy visiting a few Tavernas🙂
