She's banking on Labour being too hamstrung by the parlous state they've left the economy in and Kier Starmer's lack of willingness to change the status quo that in 5 years time they'll have achieved bugger all and she'll get the power she so clearly craves.

Hopefully though, the Tories are going to take a pasting so bad it makes Corbyn in 2019 look like a winner.

More hopefully, I suppose, there's always the possibility that she'll talk herself into losing her seat, so vile and clearly self-interested are her utterances. She's increasingly obviously gone into business for herself and not country or even party. A 26,000 majority is no longer unassailable.

am I right in thinking that the right wing of the Tory party have actually taken over the Conservative party and are the loudest voice ? Don't be so sure about Bravermam not being too popular in their party, Sunak looks terrified of her. Farage has been quoted as saying he wants to be their leader in a couple of years time.

If Labour can find a way to manage their culture wars, because that is all that they have left you'd hope to see them torn apart to the degree that it will take multiple election cycles for them to regroup. They are very focused upon power at any cost so it is going to be difficult.
