The one thing that gives me hope is that, so far at least, there are no means to enforce any of this. The cops and army won’t do it, and they don’t have a genuine mobilised base.
Rather than a coherent moves lot of what she says is just idiotic, like the non crime hate incidents policy I mentioned before, which is a ongoing issue over Israel / Palestine especially.
This problem is why John Roberts has been slow-walking his agenda for almost twenty years.
He knows what happens if he pushes too far, too fast. Prosecutors, police and the military will refuse to back up the Court's decrees. Even though he has six votes, he knows he can't vote that group's sincere preferences right now and expect it to stick. So, on the high-profile stuff, he often votes for stuff his legal briefs in the Reagan administration suggest he doesn't believe. This surprises the court-watchers in the media, who proceed to provide a patina of legitimacy for mass consumption.
The extreme ideologues on both sides of the aisle who think they can get everything they want right now are deluded about how political change works. You
can get that, but it would have to be through force of arms and an authoritarian regime which engages in tyranny by a minority.
