Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

are looked at as just making up the numbers. It’s just like majority of football fans in this country won’t realise how good of teams are like Stuttgart, Hoffenheim, Villarreal, real Betis, como, Roma are

We are near enough ( with a bit of investment) the level of Palace Villa etc
They will be well known in Europe and are just as good as if not better than the teams you mentioned as their progress in Europe proves
Well we are looked at just making up the numbers in the premiership by probably 80% of football fans in this country. We haven’t achieved anything in over 30 years. Now imagine what teams like Villa and palace this year been in Europe and finals have done? It’s raised the profile bigger. But we aren’t classed as this massive club in Europe or by fans in Europe like we are to certain age bracket if football fans in this country or our own fan base.

You see the like of Brighton, Villa, Bournemouth, palace, Brentford and few others. There squads have been in far better shapes than what Moyes took over at Everton 16 months ago. There managers have come in to better squads, better run clubs and having foundations in place than what Moyes had in 16 months. In the last 18 months, we’ve lost 12 players, had to rebuild a squad on a £113m budget, move stadiums, new board in place, new scouting system in place, new owners, new ish squad, a new policy of the youth set up, new football director, new transfer committee. We’ve been a basket case of a club for decades, it finally caught up. We are now starting from scratch and made progress in 18months.

Carlo had us near the top of the table and with a couple of players in January we would have been in the mix
He was sold a pup by Usmanov
Nah, that team was maybe even more fraudulent than this years. Sure for the like 7 games James was fully healthy for we were awesome then he got hurt and we turned into a passive shell. It was going nowhere and ended up even higher than it probably deserved.

Glasner and Iraola have done superb jobs and I would have either one here. My only concern would be the team we have, it lacks a lot of what those 2 have now so they may struggle until we bring in different players. We would have to be patient with them

Where's the progress? Like genuinely please explain what progress there has been as a football club this year.

Well for one, we haven’t been in a relegation battle or in anywhere near one. Fans haven’t had to gone through mental torture at the thought of going down. We’ve moved grounds and fans are start to settle. We’ve got some good players in the squad that have shown quality at time. The youth set up is looking better. The fact we’ve now got a board in with highly rated people in those positions. Well have made more through sponsorship, revenue from the ground plus more TV money due to been on TV a lot more on this season.

None of that has anything to do with David Moyes progressing the football club apart from you stating we were in a relegation battle last year. We were only in a 'battle' because we had the misfortune of being managed by one of the worst premier league managers ever. And that 'battle' ended the minute that useless waster was bombed out cos he gave up.

We finished 20 odd points away from relegation.

David Moyes hasn't progressed us at all. Like nothing has happened this season that wasn't happening the previous 2 seasons. No surprise we've got the same points.

And the problem with selling a pup to elite operators is they can call your bluff and jump ship to Real Madrid at the first opportunity.

Imagine having Carlo and conspiring to lose him... what a shambles we were.
As if we had a chance of competing with the lure of Madrid, no matter how we were run.
