Tell you what if our fans hate tactically limited, perennial underdog British managers with self-imposed glass ceilings that like to make excuses and will never be able to progress us past being “best of the rest” then they’ll LOVE Edward Howe.
Despite my total dislike for Moyes ,if any manager had taken these players ,got us so far then for us to drop off a cliff as we seem to have done I would be trumpeting for a change but by ignoring players who could help on a game to game basis to achieve better results he proves again that he is not a top class manager ,too rigid in his thoughts ,I was going to say tactics ! All his reasoning for not using them is only sound between his own ears not in the real world .
We have not been playing that well ,we have scraped and stolen the odd game and drawn or lost games we might have won ,yes that could be said about all teams but so many in the league are more attractive to watch and higher than we are or where we will finish .
I am not hoping for us to sign Jack because of his age and fitness but he really did show us what we could do ,instead we got players that were never or hardly used for the money we had available ,I would love to know Moyes' input on those transfers .
Yep not often you get two good managers available at end of season. There's zero excuse to not go for one of them. I would be doing everything I could to do to get Glasner in.We may never have a better opportunity.
I'd be ecstatic with either Glasner or Iraola
The only thing with Glasner is it would probably be 3 at the back. We really don't have the CB for it atm and I include O'brien and Braithwaite in that. One can't stay fit and I'm not convinced on the other tbh. We would need some serious signings basically.Yep not often you get two good managers available at end of season. The bigger issue we’d have with Glasner’s system with our current squad is definitely our absence of wingbacks rather than the CBsThe only thing with Glasner is it would probably be 3 at the back. Think we also need to get over this phobia we have of managers/coaches based overseas. The best operators in the PL both in the dugout and on the pitch have tended to come from abroad in recent years, we seem terrified of the idea and most of our fans just go along with it sadly.
If Glasner comes at some point we could go a decade without a proper FBThe bigger issue we’d have with Glasner’s system with our current squad is definitely our absence of wingbacks rather than the CBs
If West Ham go down, we will deffo be getting one of their players. And it won’t be Bowen…
AndRafael Benitez was Madrid manager
Look at the state of recent manager appointments, why do you think they go back to what they know, they even done it with Carlo.Mourinho the manager apparently too washed up to be at Everton is now going to be the Real Madrid manager
Yeah, that's not the same at all. Real need someone to basically either calm the egos or a general to tell them their egos don't mean sh#t. Carlo was the former, Mourinho is the latter. They have way more than enough talent to challenge for everything, they just are up their own asses.Mourinho the manager apparently too washed up to be at Everton is now going to be the Real Madrid manager

They carry a serious Ego issue amongst players, which only certain managers can carry that weight.
They are going to a manager that publicly opened his mouth around an Issue with one of the big voices at Madrid.
Jose wont last there, and he doesn't care about Ego's
Also, do you think the Friedkins would deal with him again ?
