I preferred the crouching goalie (or Alan Hodgkinson, as I remember him looking like) as he was sturdier and less likely to deflect the ball into his own net.

And I imaginad that set up.... But it was all standing in the Park End but loads of scrapping upstairs..... And I thought that was normal for a footy match!

Was the massive corner kick guy about in subuteo and wasn't there some spring loaded throw in guy as well?
Yep, the corner kick bloke in scale must have been 23 foot tall....and yes the spring loaded thrown in guy was in scale but would chuck the ball in to the next street

Hahaha, I never had it but some of the other kids did.......always thought it weird when we were in Liverpool!!
