Loved it back in the 60's and 70's. It was ace when I got the Floodlights and played in the dark at home. Lots of friends played always very popular.

The rough side of a piece of hardboard....stuck like a dream. The put the mowed patterns on the pitch with yer mams clothes brush lol

Iron the goalie with a wet cloth over him....used to flatten his bend out and make him a bit taller

we had made up teams with made up players in our league. I bought a left winger named Matts Wilander once for 900k which was 9p. I offered to pay in gob stoppers but the manager of Southsea Athletic wanted hard cash!! He certainly changed my Hellifield Utd team ‍ It was only years later i discovered he was a fairly good clay court tennis player.

We actually bent him and reattached the base to straighten him out all my mates did it. West was magnificent reinvented.

But he was right footed!
