Typical Saturday afternoon. At half time everything is great, we are leading, putting pressure on spurs tomorrow and as per usual should be winning by more but have failed to take our chances. At 1-0 up at half time you just know that we will be regretting not taking chances and that we are due an absolute clanger.

However, if you forget that we should have been 2 up at half time a point at the Britania is very good. The main downside is fellaini. But we seemed to be at our best when our backs against the wall and people write us off a bit. We can still do well in the next 3 matches without him but Moyes has 1 week to find a new system.

Marouane Fellaini has apologised for the incident that occurred during the 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

The Blues midfielder was involved in an incident with Ryan Shawcross in the second half during which he made contact with his head on the Stoke defender.

"I apologise completely to Ryan Shawcross, my team mates and to our fans at the game," said Fellaini.

"There was a lot of pushing and pulling going on inside the Stoke penalty area and I didn't feel I was getting any protection from the officials.

"Nevertheless I know I shouldn't have done what I did.

"I have also apologised to the manager and the staff. I have no excuses, I was disappointed with the way I was being treated and I lost my temper, which was unprofessional of me."

Everton drew 1-1 at the Britannia Stadium after taking the lead in the first half.

Good lad.

Serve the ban and let's all move the [Poor language removed] on.

^I hope he believes that and it isn't the classic, please reduce the amount of the ban quotes!

Knowing it's Fellaini, I could see it being accurate. He has a temper, but he doesn't seem like a dbag.

I sure hope that's the case.

I'll take the point after a massive ef up by Howard, a sitter missed by Osman, and a 2nd half that made me want to cry.

When was the last good 2nd half we played? Even against Spurs we kinda looked half assed until the very end.

We are starting to look stale and it's worrying me. I'm wondering who is going to pair Jelavic upfront with Fellaini's ban and if that's going to be a good thing.

We are still thin.

this again just shows what winds me up about Moyes when asked about the penalty that should of been given "its a 50-50 sometimes you get them sometimes you dont" why does he never point out when we are robbed from decisions yet is quick to jump on his own players it confuses me
Because the handball was a 50-50 one as moyes said sometimes you get them sometimes you don`t. It was one where if its against your team you`d be upset if it was given.Fellaini`s headbutt was indefensible and he deserves what he gets.

Nice to see Moyes call Fellaini out on it Shen so many other managers would ignore it. Also good on Fellaini for an instant apology.

How many recent high profile incidents would have been better for similar action?
