I was confident going into this game. devastated at dropping two points.
Since start of October
two wins
eight draws
one defeat
hardly the form of a team looking for CL football next season

It is certainly testing how we as fans see that half fillled/empty glass. You look at the games and we are not exactly fluking draws so there is not much needed to get those draws into wins so I am defo on the glass half full thought process.

Bit depressing that we're only 2 points above Norwich and 5 points from the bottom half of the table though.

So sick of hearing 'i'd be happy with a draw from this'. I swear if we drew every game where i hear that we'd end up getting relegated. Do other teams who want to get Champions League go into a game saying 'be happy with a draw' against a team like Stoke, or teams around them like Spurs ? Do they [Poor language removed].

We didn't deserve more than a draw today though, so i'm not going to complain. Stoke are a very difficult side to beat at home.

Can't speak for other people but I am never happy with a draw before the game, well when I say never I think Old Trafford, etc. it would be stupid to say you would not be happy with a draw (where we are at the moment that is the realistic viewpoint) but I think you have to judge a game on its merits afterwards.

Today a draw was a fair enough result so we can't complain too much, Stoke did their job and we tried to do ours without much success. We move on and fingers crossed we can get more than a draw at West Ham.

They've only lost 3 there since February.

Agreed with you there mate, i just find the idea of being happy with a draw before a game with the team we have to be a bit weak. We should be going into every game saying we want and expect a win, it's the same kind of mentality that is reflected in our derby record imo.

Yep, and why couldn't we have been the fourth ?

'Happy with a draw'.

Nah. Happy with a draw after the match if it's a tough game ? Sure. Happy with a draw before we even set foot on the pitch ? No chance.

West Brom, Sunderland, QPR, Newcastle. All beat Stoke at home last season.

I'm never happy with a draw, mate, but taking a point from there, especially with a perfomance as bad as that, isn't a bad result really.

Really proud of how we as a club have handled the situation today.

Fellaini was unbelievably stupid to do what he did, but both he and Moyes have done themselves proud in their responses. Particularly Moyes - can't ever remember a manager holding his hands up like that about a transgression from one of his players.

Certain other clubs could learn a thing or two.
