Stadium music & match-day announcements

My take is a bit different, I think we should have a set list of songs played in full, Grand Old Team has been edited for HDS, it’s old it’s corny but it’s part of our heritage, and needed in the move from Goodison.
I’d like a 15 minute build up to Z Cars which gets us all singing and ready for the game, and most importantly behind the team, the one was always going to change things up, we’re all sitting with new people, and around me in Club View too many non ST holders,I’m want a core of regulars near me, atm I get different people every game in the six seats in front of me.
Songs I’d like Grand old team, Spirit of the blues, There she goes, all full length versions.

The announcer needs to up his game, and the timings need to be improved the past week has been poor, and why did we get the operation HDS a last Sunday for the first time, I though there was going to be a full scale evacuation initially.
Why don't we play 'waterfront' by Simple Minds, or perhaps we do and I've missed it?

the guy they had for years was good, graeme jones i think his name is, be nice if the club asked him back but he seems to bring up getting let go at every opportunity so not sure how likely it is

rossy needs binning though

volume find for me, i want it loud, seems to be amny reethinf problems and they can never quite get the walkouts right

i really liked them playing the fa cup songs yesterday, shame will be at least a year again toll we might hear them again

I'm sure Rossy is doing his best but I preferred Graeme too, I like to hear a local announcer & he was good.

I was hoping when we left Goodison they'd dump we're forever Everton/Spirit of the blues/Atogether now which they play one after the other 15 mins before the game starts. Turn the 'kin music off and let the fans do our job and try and build up the atmosphere in the run up to kick off.

Try, and fail. Unless it's a derby, a relegation-decider or a littany of bad ref calls...y'all can't get up for a game. I don't have to physically be there to hear it. Hasn't consistently been the same crowd since about 2007.

No worries though, y'all won the virtual dB award recently so everyone can sleep comfy...your work is done, your participation ribbon secured.

How you mf'ers piss me off from over 5k miles away amazes me.

Will always defend Rossy as a person -every time I've crossed paths with him from work he's always been a good lad, very respectful, personable and seems genuinely interested in chats we've had to the point he's brought up stuff we spoke about on previous occasions which have sometimes been many months apart also seen him treat other people I work with exactly the same. Do think maybe his accent/mannerisms might put people off if they've not fully spoke to him like, but at the end of the day he's always been sound with me.

Will say though in his role at the club I do think he needs to sharpen up sometimes with the pronunciations and substitutes. Was at the wolves game and noticed for one of their subs in extra time he just read the number and not the name. I get everyone struggles sometimes but don't remember THIS many gaffes when he was the announcer yonks ago in 2013 etc. Whether it's a lack of preparation, anxiety, or club/officials not communicating properly.

Personally thought they had been doing a great job until Christmas. Brentford was a shambles on the sirens and also the H&S drill. Wolves no light show and no ‘there she goes’ Saturday also seemed off. It’s like someone is on holiday and hasn’t told everyone how to operate the kit!
