Stadium music & match-day announcements

Thanks and well done, that was a quick answer to a niche request. Now I've got to remember who it was in the matchday thread that was laughing along with me about it... @COYBL25 I think?

edit: rubbish memory. 'twas @Bedfordblue
Knew the moyesiah would have something up his sleeve.
Great strategy holding Aznou back until the 87th minute.

Also W the absolute F is that version of we shall not be moved?!?!

 I couldn't believe my ears either, is it a 50's country version?
:pint2:

On a related note, some routine wouldn't hurt, 'There she goes' into 'Z-cars'. And 'All together now' at HT. Has been a bit of a bunfight recently and a swishifying effect.

Released in late 1965, The Seekers "We shall not be moved", was the B-side to the aptly named "The carnival is over".
Must admit when I heard that yesterday I welled up in this poignant season for me anyhow, first Everton related choon I remember as a babe in arms sat on my old fellas knees he taught me,”Goodbye Upper Parly, farewell Clayton Square, its a long, long way to wembley stadium but Everton are there”👍different times, not to be this year unfortunately😔

Rossy constantly getting pelters is something. Hes much better than the last fella, who couldn’t pronounce any opposition player’s name

As for the music, noticed There She Goes hasn’t been played for a few games now. Bit weird.

Also, we’ve played that version of We Shall Not Be Moved for years before cup games at Goodison. Not a new thing at all. Remember it before Wigan especially

Seen him leaving Goodison I was outside Winslow someone went over you’d think he was mid 90’s Di Caprio the way he carried on 😂

Fair play to him, he's done really well for himself. I occassionally hear him on the radio though and just find him irritating and also remember people who worked at Rock FM saying he was full of himself.

Takes all sorts though and plenty of people think he's great. Obviously they have poor taste, but what can you do ?
