Ms Heer says: “The defendant appeared before the youth court this morning when his case was sent to the crown court for trial. He was remanded in youth detention accommodation. He had the benefit in the court below of reporting restrictions under Section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act of 1933.

"I should indicate that the prosecution will apply for two reporting restrictions, first in respect of the defendant and secondly in respect of the children who are named as injured parties in the attempted murder count."

Ms Heer says there is "no objection" to the latter.

This order is therefore made by the judge.

Tbf, the Police acted because there was a man on the street with knife. It is another example of a them having to face a situation that most of the public would have fled from.

Pointing fingers at Russia is lazy and wrong, IMHO. That protest (outside the mosque) was organised before that fake report was published, and it wasn’t especially plausible anyway.

The whole ecosystem that feeds this - Twitter, GB News, Reform, the assembly of grifters like Fox, SYL, Brand etc, Tufton Street “think-tanks”, the vermin press, the dark money funding it all (most of which comes from the US) - needs to be challenged and where possible dismantled. Call for a riot on social media and you should get banged up, as should the social media firm for facilitating it.

I do dread to imagine the backlash which will follow.
