The pros are far outweighed by the cons for it now. Tbh i found its been vile for a few years before Musk be he's ramped it up more.
We're to far gone now. I was on a train over the weekend and i dont think i saw one person not head buried into their phone. Ive tried myself to have days i dont use my phone and last about 3 hours.
Its still relatively in its infancy in terms of history but the power and influence it has is scary in controlling peoples minds and views. Scary stuff indeed.

I deleted it off my phone last night and deactivated my account. After all the lies and garbage spouted with regards to this incident I decided to get rid.

Pointing fingers at Russia is lazy and wrong, IMHO. That protest (outside the mosque) was organised before that fake report was published, and it wasn’t especially plausible anyway.

The whole ecosystem that feeds this - Twitter, GB News, Reform, the assembly of grifters like Fox, SYL, Brand etc, Tufton Street “think-tanks”, the vermin press, the dark money funding it all (most of which comes from the US) - needs to be challenged and where possible dismantled. Call for a riot on social media and you should get banged up, as should the social media firm for facilitating it.

I saw a young lad sat outside reading an actual book the other day and nearly fell over 😂

Ive deleted it in the past. I only click on it for a few minutes here and there but spend most of that time just pressing the mute button.
So many brainwashed idiots.

Stay strong, I really missed it at first, it was a part of my day checking in every hour, and it’s a broken habit that your brain notices.

But have genuinely better mental health now, it got quite draining seeing that much vitriol and hatred on an hourly basis.

To me, it’s now moved from psychologically damaging for individuals to genuinely destructive for society. Probably been that for ages to be fair, but sometimes something needs to land close to home for people to notice.

Deleted twitter myself yesterday.

It's just got too much.

Before Musk you could at least mute the cranks and your timeline was relatively free of them. I even muted people I know and like as they couldn't resist quote tweeting them and I didnt want any of it on my timeline.

Since Musk has bought it it seems for every account you mute or block, another ten appear.

It started to become an issue of my own mental health. Seeing such hatred and misinformation everyday can only be damaging.

I genuinely enjoyed it for most of the time, but it's time for it to go.

Not sure they are rioters. It looks like a normal night in Hartlepool.

Strange bunch in Hartlepool. Teesside is obviously a rough old place but people from Hartlepool are a different breed. The thing about some of these cave people is that if you magically solved this immigration issue that so affects their lives then they’d still be like this. It’d just be something else. Never cast their minds onto the actual reasons.
