At least it makes one thing clear, it wasn't a Muslim attack, and the people who caused havoc in the streets of Southport were nothing more than neanderthals acting with racial intent.
I do dread to imagine the backlash which will follow.
At least two girls have been released, please, please let everyone else make a full recovery.

No, or at least not at this point. Today, all they have done is been seen in front of the magistrates, sent up to the big house where a judge okayed detention.
They'll set a plea date and a date for the trial. If they're going to go down the line of diminished responsibility or insanity, it'll be put forward then by his defence.
Apparently, he refused to acknowledge both the JP and the crown court judge this morning, so we'll have to see how it pans out.
