City are looking a lot better, and are a side with true quality. Chelsea is beyond doubt quality. But the other 18 teams are meh. Despite that, United will get 3rd (no Europe distractions), Arsenal 4th. I think Spurs are next best and in Poccettino finally have a manager who (despite the slow start at Spurs) will improve them over the next few seasons.
Aguero and Toure are quality (and Lampard still if he plays) and Kombut the rest are no better than us.
Easy option every time and no effective pressure on them. Do one Everton you slobs.

Germaine Jenas hit the nail on the head. If we turn it over because Baines and Coleman are so far forward they're running at out CBs which forces everyone to play safe. I've always said with Martinez I fear conceeding more when we have the ball than when we don't.

In a way we almost look better when Hibbert and Garbutt play because it forces us to play a more traditional way.

I'm not sure how to change it but I would start by keeping one of Coleman or Baines back until the ball goes into our attacking four.

Plus Coleman and Baines have just come back from hamstrings so they're not going to want to sprint to get back. Infact is our style causing the injury issues too?

I don't think we're feared this season, last season I felt that every team's fans were worried when we were their next game. We don't strike fear into anybody this season, we always make hard work of every game and teams always feel like they can get something against our slow midfield and shaky defence.
Teams know we can't break them down so all they have to do is sit and hit us on the counter.
