Criminal that we let them back into the game so easily. As soon as we went 1-0 up we should've tried to kill the game, instead we continued to play as though the scoreline hadn't changed.

The fact is we're not good enough to go to White Hart Lane dominate possession and win 3-0. Our tactic should've been exactly what Spurs implemented on us, absolutely nothing wrong with making it difficult for the opposition when it wins you points.

I wanted an exact replica of the Wolfy Bergo game. I got the replica, it just was implemented by the wrong team, as you addressed. At 2-1 down we played like a team that seemed like we where still winning trying to be cool and calm on the ball slows us down big time. It's ok doing that when your winning but needed more urgency. Like ten minutes to go and we are still knocking it around the defence trying too look calm.

Criminal performance. Baines and Coleman completely out of the game, Lukaku given absolutely nothing, Eto'o and Barkley unsure as to what position they ought to have been in. A messy formation and awful tactics.

Im sick of the inconsistent formation and team we put out every week. I never kniw what our team will look like it changes every bloody game

You and I are on exactly the same page mate. The tactic/formation that seem to be being employed is called 'shoehorn' and entails putting all your name players on the pitch regardless of whether they are out of position. Roberto has tried it a couple of times...it does not work

Amen Brother! This on toast (with melted cheese of course).

Jags looked tired in his post match interview, i noticed he looked tired in the tunnel before the game too. Few players needing time to adjust, including those that just come back from injury, Coleman looked like he wanted to protect his hammy by not producing those great runs down the wing. Shouldve left someone on the bench that could change the game late on like Eto'o or Barkley.

Also: thought our work rate was poor. Spurs caused us problems with their closing down and getting multiple players around the ball, but we never did that. Lukaku would be there chasing the ball between 2 players, and no one else closing down. At times they cut through the middle of the park far too easily. Where were Barry and Besic?

Aside from that, Besic did look pretty classy - maybe a little too classy with that header! :o
Spurs looked up for it and they looked fitter
They played midweek as well as us so maybe its an age thing?

We were in control for 20mins, Spurs were never going to trouble us, then the Howard & Distin tag team decided to let them back into it. From then they gained confidence, got the crowd back on side and we seemed to go into a shell.
We dont give away that ridiculous equaliser we are all sitting here today buzzing with three points.
