I think Spurs will get 5th ahead of us (in 7th or 8th). Our style has been worked out and we won't change it.

just watching them in the last few games they've relied heavily on luck to win games. they were getting battered by both villa and hull who should have put the games to bed and then one act of stupidity resulting in red cards changed the game until they both finally wilted in the last min.

same today, they weren't in the game and howard just gifted it to them on a plate and our players never got back up to their level.

i really can't see them 5th tbh, they got battered by the RS and have lost some shocking games.

One of the best things about Everton last season, and the season before that, has been our flanks.

If Pienaar is fit he needs to be playing with Baines, it's as simple as that, with Mirallas and Coleman down the right, Coleman had nobody with him today, Eto'o was drifting inside, so was Barkley, we just had no balance and was too congested in the middle.

Bad setup from the off.
but you were wetting your pants before kick off about our forward 4 ,now you have changed your tune.

Poor all over the park today.....no guile and no intensity....and no plan B from Roberto. First mistake for me was not starting McGeady - he gives us more energy and when on his game is a real handful.
Surprised that Ross is being picked out as the one shining star - I felt he was our worst player today....all about opinions

[Poor language removed] all the way around. No way to dress this one up. It would like be putting a pretty blue bow on a steaming pile of dog turd.

Defense poor. Howard mistake on their first (which arguably gave them the door to get back into the game). Midfield crap. No threat up front.

Just a nothing game.

And, what I think galls most Evertonians, is that this Spurs side is [Poor language removed]. They're utter crap and we made 'em look like they're a good team. This was an entirely winnable match and we threw it away.

The problem I have is that Martinez came in as part of this new brand of manager who was really attacking and tries new things. For one, his squad depth isn't good enough and two, he is far too stubborn with what he thinks is the best way of playing. We desperately in need of a plan b and Martinez needs to realise that we can't play the exact same way every game and expect other managers not to work out how to beat us. He needs to realise two things: 1. Ross Barkley can not play out wide, he is our best number 10 so leave him there. 2. We have one good winger who can also play centrally so don't play a formation where we need to play wingers. I'd love to see him try and change things a bit on Wednesday.

He is awful on the wing though imo

*gets coat...*

Mason and Bentaleb - a CM partnership made in heaven.

We are doing a decent job for a rubbish/lucky/crap/spawny (delete as approprite) team I suppose.

Not fun to watch but we are picking up results while Poch settled in.

Problem is we need wingers to allow our full backs to bomb up. They're best in the league so we should really use them

When mcgeady came on Coleman looked so much better
