No I didn’t. When Moyes first came in in the second spell they had no recruiting team at all. A couple of data analysis guys. Pellegrini’s DOF was fired along with him. So for a number of seasons it was Moyes and Sullivan. They tried to keep spending quite low. Moyes then brought in a guy from Man City to head up recruitment and they had a big summer spend, but the signings were hit or miss and Sullivan and the board decided to try a different approach and got the German guy Steidten in.You've literally just posted that you didn't say the manager doesn't sign the players at West Ham and immediately followed up by saying Sullivan and Steidten signed all the players that made West Ham crap. Not Moyes. But your position is that Potter, and his five game run, did sign all the players and royally screwed over Nuno, who definitely isn't rubbish and has managed 32 games for West Ham, leaving him powerless to resist relegation. You, sir, are pathological. Every manager and player that you rate is at best mediocre and is more often than not terrible.
Steidten didn’t like the fact Moyes had a veto on signings and they basically were at each others throats, missing out key signings after Rice exited, but the still had a decent summer with guys like Kudus, Alvarez and JWP coming in. Moyes was then offered a new contract where he would have less say and he refused to sign it. He then left and Lopetegui came in and they spent all the cash they had been hoarding, but with even less success. Fast forward to today and they are on the verge of relegation.
