Match Thread Spurs V Everton - 24th May 4pm

….i’d be sure they go for it and I’d be sure we play our normal game. If we have the chances we created at Palace we could make it interesting but I think it depends on us not conceding early.

Richi has actually scored 11 in 30 prem games this season so he's had a good season compared to all their other forwards. Tel is more random although would give Seamus a very tough game with his pace (and Udogie overlapping) in final game so rather he just gets a late sub cameo again and the away fans can give him a good send off.

Way to hurt Spurs is at set pieces and getting early crosses into the box as Forest comfortably beat them 3-0 doing that a while back so I could see Dwight starting this for sure.

Maddison was decent for them coming on last night.

Moyes was saying Gana was involved in training but wasn't quite ready for Sunderland game so can see him starting on final day to do a job on Maddison at whatever point in the game he's on for.

We're going to win this. Not because we're better but because it's the most Everton result possible. Nothing to gain by winning, everything for the opponent to lose if they do. I said this to a mate going into the City match. He said we were the one he was least worried by in their run in, I told him we're going to get a result because it's what we do.
