We won’t sign Soucek, I don’t think. Unless he’s almost a free transfer. But I think West Ham will be desperate to get a result here. They have become quite solid. I still think we looked good enough to beat this Spurs team - they look disorganised to me.

Nah, because relegating Spurs is a bigger opportunity for us. Not only will they have to sell some players to balance the books (some of which we could scavenge) but they would be more of a threat to us.

I think he'd be a good signing for 2 years. We are light in numbers throughout the squad and having legs with experience isn't a bad thing

He’s on about 90K. It wouldn’t be crazy money. Maybe he’d take a pay cut as well.

One thing he had that cannot be underestimated is a Tim Cahill-esque ability to score goals.

They look pretty good under Nuno. They’ve came off a bit of form, but they actually have been a good team in the second half of the season. Potter’s work basically relegated them.

All West Ham need is for Bowen to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Leeds have been in excellent form but they have also been getting a lot of good results via fine margins.
