You literally proposed signing Wan Bissaka, Soucek and Bowen from soon to be relegated West Ham like six posts ago. Buying old, expensive players who are ever presents in a relegated team seems like a terrible plan to me.

Wan-Bissaka is only 28 and would be quite cheap, as would Soucek. Bowen would only be an option if someone take N’Diaye as he’d fit the mould of a first eleven experienced player. Our chances of getting Bowen look very slim anyway.

28, 31, 29. Definitely won't be cheap in either fees or wages. Their current wages - £90k, £90k, £150k a week. £330k a week, £17m a year for three relegated players on their last major contracts. Terrible idea.

I think Myko is someone we can rely on in a push but we definitely need a new right back. I’d actually say we also need a new centre half, central midfielder and striker. If N’Diaye goes we need a new right winger as well, if we are keeping Grealish.

If West Ham go down I think Wan Bissaka, Bowen and Soucek would be worth considering. Soucek for me would be a squad filler for Gana if he decides to leave. Wan Bissaka is actually a phenomenal defensive right back, you just need to use him like they did at Palace and not expect him to be an overlapping attacking player.

Take the right back & look for an overlapping left back leave the rest ...at WHam..
