Depends if your a peat head or not. Bunnahabhain has virtually no peat as were the Ardbeg 10 (which I haven't tried) is peaty. I'd certainly buy another bottle of Bunnahabhain once I've tried a few others. I am enjoying my Lagavulin 16 at the moment. My next purchase will be a Highland of some description.
Bunnahabhain every time for me
I am a peat head, I'm just at the bottom of a bottle of Laphroaig cask strength 10, am a big fan of Laphroaig's whiskys.. I love Lagavulin 16 but had a bottle of that the one before last, and people say Ardbeg is the best of that South Islay triumvirate. Doesn't have to be a peat monster though, I like Oban, Balvenie, Aberlour, Old Pulteney, plenty of others. Have just heard really nice things about Bunnahabhain.

Got a bottle of this at the airport today. Quarter Cask, so more oily (due to it not being chill-filtered) and stronger at 48%. Having my first drop with a little water to release the flavour right now. I'll sleep tonight.

I am a fan of Tallisker, have been for about 10 years, went to Edinburgh last January and the place was awash with Caol Ila, which is quite nice. I bought a four pack of whiskys last year, which covered the four key parts of the Scottish flavour map, it had; Singleton, Dalwhinne, Talisker and Glenkinchie. Very nice all of them. I use this website as well. They have a lot of obscure Whiskeys as well as other spirits.

I was chatting to the Chairman of the Company who owns Jack Daniels, Finlandia Vodka, Southern Comfort and a few other brands about tastes in whisky and he suggested trying Gentleman Jack - very mellow and smooth, well worth trying!
I bet he gets a few free bottles at crimbo
48% isn't that strong in terms of cask strength - some are available at 60% on special bottlings
