Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

dont want him any were near the pitch tomorrow

While I have absolutely nothing against the man I agree. He was honest enough to say in not so many words that he dropped Everton like a hot spud when "the dream job" came knocking......OK Davie appreciate the honesty but off you go NOW.

I'm glad he's in charge today, if for no other reason than we need 3pts, and I think we've got a better chance of getting them with him there rather than Round, Stubbs, Weir or Ferguson.

Round and his headset or Woods and his mobile could easily be in contact with a Moyes sat next to Bill in the directors box, it's all about appearances, public perception etc, it is one of those things that separate us from the likes of Man utd, they had to be seen to be in control of a situation to the rest of the world, we seem to have been happy to be the walk on part with an out of date Equity card. We could get the points and still make Everton FC seem to be a bigger institution than David Moyes.

Am going today but with 3 mates instead of the family. All like minded Blues that think Moyes is taking the p*ss out of the club. Roll on the match and Moyes can be shown what a mockery he's making of this great club.

This should have been a great day. Duncan in the dugout. Moyes on the pitch later for a wave. God in that sunny scenario I'd even applaud Phil Neville.

Scanning this thread and seeing someone - a Blue - say "United are not our rivals" or another talk about how us playing United's tune will help get us more Google hits. Words fail me they really do. Over my time on here I'd say I've been as level headed as anyone in defending the Board in the face of constant criticism. This issue now of Everton rolling over and getting its arse f*cked by United and the world's media has really opened my eyes.

The whole thing stinks and I hope the rest of Goodison feels the same.

Nine league titles and some weapon wants us to act like Oldham Athletic os someone.........

Come on you Blues and show some heart and spirit.

For the first time in my life I am embarrassed to call myself an Evertonian watching SSN, who are these Everton fans saying it's "David Moyes day". We are Everton not some tinpot club. Imagine Liverpool's manager leaving them with 2 games to go to join United and getting a hero welcome for doing a decent job, it just wouldnt happen. Is this how far we have fallen that te first manager in our ling proud history to leave us for what he thinks is a bigger club gets a Heros welcome? It's a joke. He has done worse than what Lescott and Rooney did in my eyes deliberately running his contract down so we get nothing in return. We needed our manager and captain and chairman to leave for us to progress 2 if them have gone now and if we get this next appointment right this will be the best thing that's happened to us in many a year. I am seriously considering not going today, it makes me sick how are fans are going to lap up someone who has stole a living off us for 8 years and a manager who has took the pisses out of us for 6 months. Moyes you done ok and thanks for making us a better team, Neville I hope I never see you st Goodison again

Can see your opinion, but I still think it'd be cutting off our collective nose to spite our face. If a player agrees a bosman deal, they don't immediately stop playing for their current team.

Dell, your passionate contributions to this thread have convinced me to go the game today after initially saying I wasn't.

Everton FC has been one on the two most important and constant things in my life since I can remember and I haven't missed a last day lap sonce [Poor language removed] was a pup.

I will not let Kenwright's supplicancy to the OT overlord change that.

And like you I will make my feelings known in the Royal Oak before the game and around me in the Bullens during it.

Have a good day, pal (y)

Seems more and more that it is a very risky strategy what the club are doing, especially when the alternative could have made the club look stronger and not upset anyone. Are there people who are desperate for him to be manager, or would they have been equally happy with him being applauded without being in charge? The whole 'seeing out his contract' thing cuts no ice with me to be honest, and he can retain his dignity along with the club's. Seems very strange to me, maybe it's a way for Bill to say thanks, and it would be appreciated if everything just remained on the QT....
