I don't think anyone hates him, that's not the issue. He doesn't need a flag-waving charade to know what people think of him. A public message on behalf of the club and it's supporters thanking him for his loyal service would suffice...then we can get on with the important task of winning games. He would get a good reception when he returns with Utd anyway..it's what Evertonians do

He loves Everton and his players but you don't sit idle when that chair comes open. None of us do. For one second to think you'd **** on Moyes because he left, you's **** on yer own ma. I actually agree with you, to a degree, hes defo nailed on to take the United job, so whats the point in him turning up on Sunday?

How low has this club sunk to not only accept it when another club takes our manager...but to actually be expected to take part in the charade meekly and congratulate him on his 'success'. I can remember the days when leaving Everton was always a step down..ask Big Nev..he told United to do one when they came in for him.
Getting bored with this ****e now...the contract bollox has been going on all season..if you're going, get out the door. If not, then get the team ready for the weekend and earn your pay. I've only got time for people who want to be at the club...I don't get to choose my allegiance...those that don't know...you know the rest

Too ****ing right... But apparently we should all stand and applaud a man who is out the door to "better things" doubling his salary in the process. Not to mention our "captain" who saw the iceberg and jumped out promptly.

Gutted the way it has turned out with moyes, 5 years ago or slightly more he was everything that was right about Everton
