It’s only an opinion!Just wow. This amazes me.

Maybe good for the dressing room, training...etc..
The classic dilemma with an old Wayne Rooney is, where do you play him?
He is nowhere near as good as Gylfi so we can discount number 10.
In DM, he’s like a poor mans Gomes, so we can discount that position.
The only other position is CF.
I don’t think that Tosun is a particular hood barometer, as he can’t get into the team himself and there is no way he’s as good as Richarlison.
Oumar to MLS would be magical. His game suits that league so well.Maybe good for the dressing room, training...etc.
But can you honestly tell me 1 situation this season apart from the first few games were our players were not 100% fit he would slot into our team.
He wont work harder or score more than Richarlison, he wouldnt get in no.10 over Gylfi and certainly wouldnt bother Gomes or Gana in CM.
Yes he is playing well in the US but i guarantee if you put DCL there he would destroy it.
Cenk was a hero for Besiktas, Niasse was voted best player in Russian league, but look at them, cant get a game for Everton.
Nothing against Wayne, at the time he went to United, i hated the bones off him, but looking back, he never really did us wrong and I respect him for going, if he stayed at Everton i doubt he would of achieved the things he did for United. Look at him to Barkley, Ross is a wanna be Wayne, he will never do for Chelsea what Wayne did at United and the [Poor language removed] he talks about everton, getting his tattoo covered, some blue him. If he joined Chelsea in a respectful way I wouldnt have a problem.
Rant over.
He would be better than Tosun if you could rely on him to stay up top and occupy that area of the field all game. One of the problems with him playing that spot last year was he would wander around trying to playmake and leave the middle where we needed someone to be to score unoccupied.CF. He's better than Tosun. Richarldson can score goals anywhere on the front line (I think in general Sliva doesn't want Richaldson as CF but we got no choice). Gylifi is having a good season but Rooney gives us depth there and could cover that position if needed. Again he'd be a nice player to have (this year, you never know w/ age and next year he could be Ashley Williams), and probably would be really nice depth-wise to have if we had a UEFA campaign. However he's better off in MLS, where instead of having a marginal impact at Everton he could drag a club that was really really bad to being quite good and prolong his career.

More evidence for ‘no, we shouldn’t have kept him’:
Ironic that the biggest traitors in our history have often been "boyhood" Blues.
Give me your Cahill's, Pienaar's, Colemans etc. Any day of the week.
