I'd like to see it banned. Liverpool have done in the last 12 months so in keeping with us standing by them on this subject it's time for us to follow suit.
Nah. Not a fan of 'cos they did'

Like I, and many others, said, should've done it years ago. Seems a bit pointless now given how it's already perceived both locally and nationally. Let's face it, it's reputation couldn't get any lower than what it already is.

If it was an employee of any other business apart from football say a large investment bank for instance they could well be sued for slander and/or defamation and would have to settle for a serious amount of money. Sue for 300million Ross n EFC. Stadium sorted

Aye both clubs should've done years ago.

The scouse jibes will continue for generations to come. Harry Enfield did a tremendous job on us and I wouldn't want the media to get so sterile that you can't have a go at different parts of the country. It's cruel British humour.

The problem is that McKenzie has significant previous. Where his lies caused deep unimaginable pain to grieving families and a city trying to support its own. Any other person in his situation would have left the Liverpool people topic well alone.

So it shows the contempt he truly has for scousers that he feels he can type what he just did. That leads me to believe there's no remorse on his behalf. The self serving rat.

He gives not one single fk for anything but himself. Never has done.

Enfield was funny.
I guess the lack of Brookside on telly is also oddly relevant. ( loved Harry Cross ) and now you get Ricky Tomlinson and his greasy haired banjo as the only thing some associate with the city.

We can laugh at eachother. We can critise our own, especially Ross.

But if anyone else dares.. The game changes.

Probably going to to get shot down here, but I do no agree with banning media per se.

In an idealistic sense, I'd like to trust the public just simply not to buy it but it's not that easy.

I think the best thing you could do is just answer any question with a very generic, non story driven, answer.

He's looking for a reaction. Same as that Katie Hopkins. Just ignore him and his kind and it eventually will stop. As horrible as he is he thrives off the attention it brings so just ignore him. Everton don't need to ban the Sun because no everton fan should be buying it in the first place
I don't think that it will eventually stop if you don't ban them. The club needs to take an official stance about this first. They need to say to not buy them, they need to take away their privilege of being allowed to Finch Farm and Goodison. Then we can ignore them.

I've never been in favour of banning anything really. But this guy just doesn't stop, the paper allowed him to be published and he has shown himself to be a bigot. I've never bought the sun, and I don't believe a copy of it has ever been in my home, so for me banning it is irrelevant, but I think the club needs to speak up now......

^^^ This really, McKenzie's a troll, and, if he gets a reaction, then, sadly, his job is done

I doubt anyone will be buying the paper mate, but "banning the S*n" in this context means not allowing them access to anything to do with the club, be it press conferences, access to Goodison in the press area ( or anywhere else ) or Finch Farm, or Moshiri's office ... whereever.

As an aside, Murdoch's Times and Sun papers are given away free at Manchester Airport near the departure gates, presumably to try and get people to read 'em and maybe buy them at a later date, Apparently, or so I'm told  , it's not unusual for people to collect up quite a few copies and stick them in the recycling bins

I was shocked to see a picture showing about 4000 people following their Everton related twitter account.

And even more shocked to see Liverpool's one had just over 7000.

Who are these idiots?!

For me there is no question Everton should ban the S** this has nothing to do with Liverpool banning them they have no place in our city or it's football!

We should be putting pressure on the club to do so!!

I voted yes but the more I think about it ....like you say years too late and a pointless knee-jerk against an equally pointless sad old man looking for all this publicity .
