Should Everton have done more in the transfer market by now?

Probably yes, but if you see other teams they are not further in the process.

How the vast majority are still allowed to use the Internet is slightly concerning though.

…so far, so good. We’ll strengthen further by the end of the window, I have no doubt about that. Just glad we’ve got a new regime in place identifying and negotiating with players.

It’s a little hard to finish all your shopping by mid-July when you don’t have unlimited money. All the selling clubs are still trying to get top dollar for their players. Gotta wait until time pressures them into lowering their prices.

Id rather us sign the right players even if it takes longer than the wrong players and be no better off and stuck paying big wages till the contracts run out.

How much has been saved with player turn over off the weekly outgoings? I prefer this than sacking the tea lady and the kit man like that shower up the east lancs have been brazen about doing.

I'd have liked them to be more active, wouldn't we all.

It's all cloak and dagger at the moment - crunch time is the next fortnight though. Need to step it up now.

There seems to be a firming up of links to Luiz, Kubo, and McAtee.

Maybe we'll get one of those three.

I'd like to us to get two in by the end of July, maybe another before kickoff and then leave any other business (loans) to deadline day.

Difficult to say really as they don’t say much so who knows what going on behind the scenes. I will judge them come the end of the window.

Like everyone by heart is saying we should have all our signings in by now settled and ready to. My head tells me we have a new team and new way of approaching these things. I am sure by the end of the window we will be a better team. I’m sure by the Leeds again we will have our big money signings bedded in
