I think we would want to keep the likes of Connelly and Dowell as they are still prospects - Hard to see us selling players currently getting a game for the National U21 side?

Some of those are on such high wages we won't get those fees. Mirallas, Sandro, Klaasen and Bolasie.

McCarthy is like Gibson, too injury prone to be worth much.

Not sure why Garbutt would be worth 2m, neither Pennington.

But, you know, fingers crossed , depends what the market is like.

It's not necessarily about selling most of these players; just getting them off the books/away from the club will balance the wage bill and potentially improve the morale. I'd hazard a guess that any transfer fees recouped would be seen as a bonus; especially for the likes of Williams, Mirallas, Besic, Martina etc.

Whilst it is evident the squad is horrifically bloated, this week will be telling in respect of who Silva wants to work with moving forwards. Realistically only see 2 or 3 incomings in total, irrespective of who goes/stays; and those merely to plug the gaps in the squad which Brands has already identified.
