Hibs fans hate Hearts because they’re incredibly bitter. We tend to find that hilarious.

Celtic fans hate Hearts because they think we’re all ‘staunch proddies’ which isn’t true at all. I genuinely think these Celtic fans are wired to the moon; almost zealot-like

Fans of smaller clubs who hate Hearts tend to be jealous of our magnificent support, our atmospheric stadium and our beautiful city.

I personally find ‘hating’ a waste of energy. If grown adults genuinely hate other clubs then I think it says a lot more about them than it does about the club.

Are you being serious here? Tynecastle has been a terrible place for Celtic supporters to visit. Celtic supporters are always attacked when they visit Tynecastle.

Do you put on earphones when you go to Tynecastle? As for your atmospheric stadium, the Hearts fans shout "paedos" for 90's minutes of a football match. Do you think revelling in the abuse of children is a good, healthy, atmosphere? ?

I mean thank god you’re hear to point out the failings of every other clubs supporters, hopefully you’ll never get lovely in your ivory tower .

The good news is the back and forth and constant your fans are bad ours are great from both sides in no way constantly derails the thread .

You're right actually.

When I was a kid in the sixties my dad used to take me to games all over Scotland. We went to Stirling, Falkirk, Celtic, Rangers and the Hearts. He was a public figure and Jock Stein was a friend in Edinburgh when he managed Hibs .
When Celtic won the cup in 1965 against Dunfermline we were privileged to be in the centre stand at Hampden in a 108,000 crowd. Amazing.
I know all about the Hibs and the Hearts ?. There's nothing but affection for me towards the Maroons. My wife's family are all Hearts supporters and a nicer crowd of folk you could not meet.

And yet............

Aberdeen fans hate Hearts.

Scottish junior Cup past weekend.
I'm following stoneywood parkvale cos my mates loon plays for them.
Beat Wishaw 4-1 on Saturday.
Wishaw boss was fuming said stoneywood parkvale was the worst team he's seen play football, kept his players in the changing room after the match to read the riot act.
Petershill away next round....always next season.

Agree with one exception, the RS, how could you not hate that club ;)

At last some real football.
I’ll keep an eye out for the result.
Bit of a coincidence talking about Hearts earlier but I’m sure Petershill have a Hearts connection.
Prodies?.....I'm jesting.
They've a lovely ground.
The lads will enjoy playing there.
A good glasga type crowd shouting sheep abuse for 90 minutes, all good fun.

Firstly, let me say that I condemn all forms of bigotry, racism, homophobia; including that from Hearts supporters. Unfortunately the Celtic fixture brings out the worst in an element of our support.

But my point relating to Celtic supporters is valid. The hatred and paranoia from them is so deep-rooted that it doesn’t really matter what I or anyone else say. Their image of Hearts fans will always be “Huns without the bus fare”. The vast majority of Hearts fans are actually very decent people who have no interest in sectarian songs of viewpoints. But that doesn’t fit the Celtic narrative. What you describe above is a loud and visible minority.

Sadly, for as long as Celtic bring their full IRA/Republican songbook to Tynecastle it will continue to bait the worst elements of our support. There are no winners here. I’m not sure it can ever be fixed.
