Surprised by this to be honest always rated Barton very highly as a player, if not a man he could have been a truly brilliant player and had a more high profile career than the one he had.
Im sure he made a decent living out of the game he however could have had a much better career if he was a better person.
Wonder will he go back to Burnley now, sad thing is he will end earn a crust still from the game and likely end all of this debacle financially better off had he just stayed at Burnley, football really is mad and morally corrupt at times.
