He would feel at home there
Sh-tty ground
Same crap songs
Same deluded sh-te talking supporters

I'm no Celtic fan, but I have been to Celtic Park to see the Dundee United Vs St Johnstone Cup Final a while back and I can confirm that it's a very impressive stadium and hardly what I'd call "sh-tty"

It's definitely a nicer place to watch togger than the hollowed out volcano that the bitter reds call home

Beith Juniors v Morton...postponed.

Tomorrows game against Beith postponed due to a frozen pitch. Pity as it's a ground I've never visited and was looking forward to the game, hopefully the pitch will have thawed by next Saturday.

Might take a while to get that one played haha! I remember a few years back there was a cup game in Scotland that got postponed a stupid number of times, can't remember who it was?

Decent point Mikey. I was at both Old Firm grounds last season, Rangers in the league and Celtic in the Scottish cup, and even though I'm not a fan of either team, I was impressed by both stadia. Almost as good an atmosphere as a full Goodison ;)

The British record for postponements for a single fixture not surprising is for a match in the 'Arctic' north of the country. The Scottish Cup 2nd Round tie between Inverness Thistle and Falkirk was scheduled for 6th January 1979. However after 29 postponements it was finally played on February 22nd 1979. Falkirk won 4-0 in the 30th attempt to stage the match. Three days later Falkirk lost 1-0 at Dundee in the first attempt to stage the Third Round tie!

Although I think there was one more recently that was postponed about 20 odd times

Was it not Inverness v Falkirk? Think it was postponed 20 odd times.

Yeah I was thinking more recently, I thought I would have remembered if it was Falkirk, but the match was played a month before I was born (in Falkirk).

29 postponements in a month and a half, wow! They must have tried to play it every other day!! Wonder if any Falkirk fans actually went?

Without hope we have nothing.

For the followers of the much maligned Scottish football who will understand the following:

Stand free

I might be crying into my pint well before full time but that's life
With you there
Hoped the Dons might've done something today but think the ask was too much

Sadly mate, I think your chance was last season while Deila was still stanking the joint up

It was an amazing attempt at the League Title and, fair being fair, you would have managed it in the end

I made that post back in October. It was also clearly in jest. If Donald Trump nukes Scotland on the behest of GOT's Prevenger17 I will gladly issue an apology

I am very fond of Kelly's Hotel in Rosslare, Co. Wexford.

For about thirteen years staring round about turn of t' century I went there the first week in August.

Always arriving in the Saturday before the August Bank Holiday Monday.

We would have picked up a car at either Belfast or Dublin airport and proceed in a southerly direction.

Traffic flow was generally fine until one reached an accursed town name of Gorey.

On that Bank Holiday weekend, seemingly half the people in Ireland were heading for the ferries in Rosslare or the golden sands of Tramore in Co. Waterford.

The result was a terrible logjam in Gorey, Co. Wexford

It was not unusual to spend ninety minutes crawling through that darned town.

I often wished the Russians would nuke the blooming place :(

(not whilst I was crawling through it, mind )

I even contemplated writing that nice Mr. Putin and requesting such a drastic course of action.

However, the Dublin junta came up with a better idea.

They built a by-pass round Gorey and my passage south was considerably eased ;)

Until I reached Enniscorthy :(

Now, Mr. Putin.......we need to talk about Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford
