Say something controversial - round 2

Bolasie getting pick pocketed while dwelling on the ball before some West Brom yard dog shoulder charges Gueye away, megs Williams and then chips Stekelenburg on his six yard line. Then we announce Lukaku sold to Chelsea for an undisclosed fee at full time.

One can only dream.
Nah I think Cleverly starts for maximal fume before slipping at the top of the box twice in two minutes. McCarthy then volleys someone in the head and is sent off, before Ross hits one in from abar halfway to give hope.
Then Romelu limps off injured and Kone trips himself up when one on one in the final minute of the game.

Is it a way for LGBT people to feel more comfortable, or for you to feel more comfortable on parade day?

I would happily support a festival and be a part of that. I have no views on sexuality, makes no odds to me.

You can't guarantee anything mate.
It's not about changing minds it's about celebrating the right to freedom of sexual expression.
A parade achieves this.

But it doesn't. In fact far more effective on the matter is the younger generations coming through now and not caring.

Most effective way for anyone bigoted enough to have an issue with said issue is to be a part of something where they can be taught that they shouldn't hold such issue with it. You get actual bands and stuff to support an event like I suggest and they would go along either way. Then at that situation it makes no difference what sexuality the person standing next to them is, and it promotes that in fact someone who is something other than straight is actually no different and therefore educate them first hand.

I'd argue that the more people that get the message the better.

I'd argue that drawing people's attention to the issue and increasing awareness has done a hell of a lot for equality over the years

Can you?

How?

Parades don't spread that message. Again it does the opposite compared to what I suggest. Far too many people can easily just go 'I'm not going into town today , that gay pride thing is on'. But give them an opportunity to be a part of something which promotes equality far more then it's going to do a lot more to eliminate the subject existing.

It may highlight the issue but it doesn't solve it.

Because like I said above , putting people who are ignorant on the matter in an environment where it proves first hand that sexuality is not an issue wouod do wonders for the cause. If you are off seeing your favourite band and having a drink with fellow fans for arguments sake, it promotes far more the fact it makes no odds who you are drinking with or enjoying that experience with. Because that is the fundamental thing, it doesn't matter.

Gay people stood still - great, have a dead good time loads of sound people.

Gay people on the move - WHOA, NOW!
It's the point of drawing attention rather than like I have suggested promoting opportunity to celebrate the matter and opportunity to promote equality far more .

I think Ash may actually be fighting some dead down feelings here. Genuinely.

Ash it's ok. No one will think any different of you.

Just be you.
By suggesting an event that promotes equality over promoting the issue?

Yeah deep down I actually want sexuality to not matter mate . Want it to just be a part of society and have no one care about it.

Festivals are a dime a dozen, how many actual parades are there...
