A van reversed into the car of a woman I know well through family. it was in a car park, so perhaps at 10mph max. Car front bumper was scratched but not dented. Apparently the fear and trauma of this dramatic event three years ago is the sole reason for her young son's behaviour....I have to leave the room when this comes up in conversation

Well, looks like that mom is just an idiot. Maybe next time when she starts that talk you can politely say that she clearly is using that incident for his own purposes and maybe has made a mountain out of a molehill. Her own actions and behaviour has probs been more stressfull than that little bumb.

Oh and I also believe the BBC would be called into question. We are forced by the courts to pay for them despite bias news, horrible things they have done and whether we actually want their service or not.

Would much prefer to pay for cbeebies on a subscription basis for the baby as that is literally the only service I use by them.

Because it is highlighting a factor that shouldn't be a factor. Shuts down a city for a day to basically say look at us.

A giant event that celebrated it instead still has the same effect without doing that. It would he a nice staple in the calendar. Would go down with the family to it, live music and stuff without forcing the point of sexuality which would be far more effective than trying to get people to notice. The Sunday this year is exactly what I mean, had a walk round it and it was good fun, just a nice atmosphere and nice day out. Do that on a bigger scale instead.

The correct response to someone saying I'm gay should be no one cares, same as if someone announced they were straight.
