Well gay rights is about people not noticing. Now fully agree with that, being gay isn't a factor for me.and shouldn't be a factor anywhere else. Same as religion or skin colour, non of that matters.

Just the fact once a year they do the opposite and force people so to speak to look at them being gay. Complete opposite of what it should be about, should be about educating ignorant people that they shouldn't even think about someone's sexualitype.

As the parent of such a kid I can confirm this. Also the refusal from some people to acknowledge it exists and the line "oh he's just being a boy" irritates me no end.

The complex needs faced in schools these days are mind boggling.

Some children have an awful lot to put up with. Their mental health worries me greatly and the lack of funding for SenCos, PMLDs and special education within our country terrifies me. There's just a blatant lack of multi-agency help. Statements, EHC plans and social services only go so far.

Racism is horrible in itself. Same as Morgan freeman saying it shouldn't be specialised to black history month, would be much better if racism didn't exist. Sadly it's harder to do that than saying it.

Not really. Saying don't do the look at us we are gay thing and perhaps just holding a giant event in one place doing the exact same thing but drawing less attention on the look at us factor and just celebrating it instead?

Shouldn't matter. Don't think any characteristic should be labelled in anyone. As I said I know people who are camp and not gay, I know butch girls who aren't gay. And I know the opposite stereotypes as well, means nothing. Still friends to me.
