I know there are loads ofgenuine cases out there but why do I get the feeling that some parents who claim their kid has chemical imbalance/ADHD/condition are simply looking for an excuse as to why the kid isn't clever or well behaved? It's an insult to the genuine cases

True. There surely is this kind of cases. These parents are being found out pretty easily, though.. eventhough im not doctor or psychiatrist I know...cause I work in this area.

As the parent of such a kid I can confirm this. Also the refusal from some people to acknowledge it exists and the line "oh he's just being a boy" irritates me no end.
