I thought Sandro was a smart purchase but what I wonder about is, did RK ever have access to a white-board?

How in Koeman's mind could he have found places for Sandro, Rooney, Klaseen, Gilfi when they all play the same game?

Sandro adds some dynamism and I hope he gets a run of games but then again I hope Vlasic gets a chance and that Gilfi gets a chance
to find form. How's it going to end?

Nine of these guys play the same game. Klaassen is a box to box mid, so he's nothing like the rest of those guys. Gylfi is a playmaker, he's not a striker, whereas the other two are forwards.

admittedly, I'm pro Sandro, and I backed him to the hilt and stuck my neck on the line, due to my close ties with Malaga. But he to me, just needs a goal, and sharpish.

You can see he's a very gifted footballer, with the way he executes passes and such, but 10 mins at the end of a game, when he's low on confidence isn't going to help the lad. Unfortunately for him, we can't afford to be taking gambles and throwing him in, when we're in the mess we're in.

He'll be fine under proper guidance, he won't be going on loan.

I think a more reasonable comparison would be Rooney, Gylfi and Vlasic. Thereby making the obvious questionable one Gylfi.

Klaassen should be starting next to Gana.

I actually thought he was alright when he came on yesterday. Worked hard and showed a bit more neatness and a couple of good positive passes in attacking positions.

Come on, it was a steal, even if he doesn't do the business.

A lot worse deals for us to moan at Koeman, Walsh the board for in the summer. Namely that fella we bought for just shy of 50m.

Klassen hasn’t played well enough to justify a place in the team though.

I hope he plays vs Atalanta though. When you consider he was captaining Ajax to the Europa league final last season he must be better than what we’ve seen so far.
