...every game he’s played up top suggests he can’t play up top. The first half against Stoke is worth a re-run, everything knocked forward came back. If he plays up there, he has to play off a target man. If he plays up there he has to replace Niasse who is scoring goals.

I’m not dismissing him, I just don’t see how he fits in this team.

100% this tbf, wish we had settled a bit before blowing this cash. Our team last season with lukaku and barkley, no signings, was better than ours right now after 150m spent

Why is he meaningless? He is what, 20/21? He has played about 3 hours of premier league football, in an absolutely horribly struggling side, he has scored more goals in his career already than the likes of DCL, and has just won an under 21 international trophy playing with top players. But let's write him off and persist with DCL. Dear me.

Unlike Klassen Sandro's already proven himself in a top league. He has quality but is adjusting to a new league, climate and language in a country where he knows no one in a team that's struggling.
He deserves a chance to play off Niasse in a few home games before January. He likes to drop deep so they may compliment each other. If he doesn't get a real chance he'll be pushing to leave which could be something we live to regret.
