2017/18 Sandro Ramirez

I live in the Canary Islands these days and I saw quite a bit of Sandro, albeit on Spanish TV, he really looked the business for Malaga last season. Pacy with a decent touch and a boss slotter. I really hope we give him more time to settle in, as, in a half decent team, he will score goals in the premier league.

After looking at the pace and movement of Watford yesterday I think that Sandro is a player that may work very well with Silva if he were to come to Everton..
I think it is significant as well that he was used by Unsworth last Saturday. I think things may be beginning to change for him at Everton... for the better.

I refuse to judge Klaassen on what we've seen so far. Others should too.

For crying out loud, if we started Barry, Macca, Schneiderlin etc on a flank/wing it wouldn't work so why would we tolerate it if it was Klaassen. Sure he is a different player to those other 3, but still should be played centrally with some pace out wide.

His style is literally ideal to complement Sandro, Bolasie and Coleman and would probably even help Gylfi or Rooney with his short passing and space creation.

Remember when Bobby obssesed with playing Tom Cleverly out wide? Well, this isn't that different. Except unlike Cleverely, Klaassen can pass. Play him in the correct spot a couple of times then judge.

And yes we dont have the luxury of "experimenting" given our situation. But Snides is injured, Davies hasn't been to flash this year at all and Davy hasnt started in position once. Play him as a 7 with three forwards. Start playing to the qualities our team has, and implement a strategy rather than just putting guys on a park and hoping like RonKo did.

Good post but please....what the heck is a “7” supposed to be if you don’t want him playing “on a flank/wing”?

@chicoazul is this more FM nuspeak

I wouldn't want us to sell him, if I'm being honest. Could genuinely see him going elsewhere and doing well, has 'Everton that' written all over it.

Honestly I wouldn’t properly judge any new signing based off this season. There is something wrong at the club, literally every player has become gash in the space of one summer break... that’s not normal. The team must have awful morale and chemistry.

We should try Lookman at left full back and blame him for errors that occur there.

No need to be facetious. Regardless of position Klaassen has shown us very little in the game time he's had.

It doesn't matter where you play on a football pitch, you can at least demonstrate some form of ability. So far we've barely seen him impose himself on a game.

Agree with this, just about every seasoned professional is looking for a way out. Backroom staff included.
They obviously don't like what they see here.

Will show he’s at the very least capable at this level I’m sure of it. You don’t score 15/16/17 goals in la liga at the age of 21 if you haven’t got a bit about you.

Needs to be utilised in a front 2 or 3 though, most certainly can’t lead the line on his own that’s for sure.
