Can't believe how many of our "fans" have turned on this young player without him getting a proper chance. He was great in a poor Malaga team last year and is a better footballer than niasse. I reckon he will click when we get bolasie back in the team and start getting crosses into the box which is how he scored majority of his goals in la liga.

Give him time , this lad is quality and will become an important player for us. He worked hard yesterday and showed some good touches in a game where, as a team, we were well under the cosh. Patience.
I've always been an individual who has advocated allowing time to adapt and giving the benefit of the doubt, but yesterday Sandro tested that.
As others have mentioned on here, Sandro has shown an utterly perplexing knack of almost consistently making the wrong decision on the pitch.
Be it choosing the wrong direction to run, attempting to go down the wrong channel or making the wrong pass, he simply seems to get it wrong.
That aside, yesterday what frustrated me the most was his blatantly obviously lack of tenacity, guile or any real effort: it seemed half-hearted.
He had numerous opportunities to try to win the ball, yet instead he would pull out of a challenge or give up - similarly with closing down Courtois.
I understand the league is clearly more physically than he is familiar with, yet effort is still effort; in my humble opinion, he gives up too easily.
If he really wants to cement himself in the side then he must do the basics with real strength and effort or he'll simply never flourish over here.

Well... yeah. Or at least that's what he showed yesterday in my humble opinion. He won't get chances if he doesn't impose himself on a game.

could have brought him on in any of the previous games were we'd get a lot more chance and freedom and probably a chance or two, brings him on in a game where the only time he got a sniff of the ball was from a long ball forward were he had to tussle with 3 good strong centre backs for the ball
